Information collected
When you view SEQRents website, our Internet Service Provider Pacific Internet makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes:

• Your server address
• Your domain or top level domain name (for example practice.com, .gov, .au, etc)
• The date and time of your visit to the site
• The pages you accessed and documents downloaded
• The previous site you visited
• The type of browser you are using

Our Internet Service Provider provides this information to us via a Statistical Graph on an as needed basis.
This non-identified information is used to monitor usage patterns on our site in order to improve navigation and design features – helping you to get information more easily.

Access to information collected
SEQRents will not make an attempt to identify users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our Internet Service Provider's logs, and thus gain information about users and their activities.

You have a right to access your personal information, subject to some exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons.

SEQRents reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for and providing access to your information.

Use of information collected
SEQRents will only collect your e-mail address or contact details if you send us a message.
Your e-mail address or contact details will only be used for:

1. Assisting you to find accommodation.
2. Assisting you to find a tenant.
3. Assisting you to find a flatmate.
4. The purpose for which you have provided it.

Property Request Forms
Your contact details will be included in the Tenant Waiting List which can be accessed via a password only by SEQRents approved Landlords, Property Managers and Lessors. Your e-mail address or contact details will only be used for assisting you to find accommodation.

Your e-mail address or contact details will not be used for any other purpose without your consent. We may however, use your e-mail address to contact you to obtain your consent for other purposes, but will give you the option of having your address deleted from our records at that time.

Personal information
In the interests of your privacy, and given the inherent insecurity of information passed over the Internet, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information over the Internet.

Cookies
The SEQRents website does not use cookies.
The website statistics for SEQRents are generated from the web logs as outlined above.
